Bruno Corréard has had extensive experience working with international retail chains in relation to the sustainable development as applied to seafood. As a Quality Control manager for Carrefour seafood products, Bruno was directly involved in Carrefour’s commitment to responsible fishing and sustainable development program. In 2006, Bruno set up his consultancy business CorreardB Consulting. This company is dedicated to safety, quality, sustainability and market issues for the seafood industry and international institutions. Moreover, Bruno has been the Coordinator of the Responsible Fishing Alliance, an international organization that aims to support responsible fishing practices in the world. Last but not least, Bruno has been the Project Manager of the International Responsible Fishing Label for artisanal, small-scale, coastal fisheries -Artysanal©- to be launched by the end of 2013.
