Fighting Food Waste in Public Foodservice

This year’s theme will focus on one of the most pressing and avoidable failures of our food systems: food waste, with a special emphasis on public foodservice—such as school can- teens, hospitals, and municipal catering services. Together, participants will explore strat- egies and tools to prevent food waste across the entire value chain—from menu design to behavioural change—while co-creating actionable ideas and policy messages for broader impact.
